Service Description
This add-on is a non medicated topical method for locally mitigating pain in the area in which it is applied. The tape is a stretchy woven fabric with hypoallergenic adhesive on one side which contacts the skin. It works in a way that touch can relieve pain, the presence of the tape on a local area is to the body like a constant touch. The characteristic of the stretchiness of the tape provides the benefit a gentle pull on the cutaneous layer upwards. This static action creates more space relieving pressure from the underlying tissues in response allowing better fluid dynamics. More nutrition can be brought to the area and more waste out do to less resistance in the area and an increase of the local lymphatic flow. Kinesiology tape can be used to treat pain, to aid in correcting posture and movement patterns as well as edema. Kinesiology tape can be applied in any direction, to most areas of the body and can be cut horizontally and vertically cut with sharp scissors to meet the requirement of a specific treatment or outcome.
Cancellation Policy
For cancelations or rescheduling please let us know well in advanced. Rescheduling, cancellations and no call no shows of any appointment must be received at least 12 to 24 hours in advance; otherwise 50% of the appointment fee is due. After 2 consecutive cancellations, you will be billed in full for the 3rd cancellation if your slot is not filled. No call, no shows will not be rescheduled after their 2nd no call, no show; at the therapist discretion you may be reinstated as a client with a required card on file.
